CPS Short term Program

Centro Paula Souza, o maior Instituto de Ciência e Tecnologia de Formação Tecnológica da América Latina, possui 75 Faculdades com mais de 70 mil estudantes, lança a 5ª edição do seu Short-term Program. 

O Programa será presencial na cidade de Santos, no estado de São Paulo – Brasil. Se prepare para participar de 24 de julho à 04 de agosto

O Programa pode ser realizado em 1 ou 2 semanas, sendo a primeira semana um curso de Brazilian Culture and Language e a segunda o estudante poderá se inscrever em um dos seguintes temas: 

  Developing Mobile Apps with React Native  

  Functional Programming and Applications 

As aulas serão conduzidas em Inglês.

Functional Programming and Applications

The main goal of this course is to provide students with a way of reasoning about functional programs and to equip them with the tools and techniques needed to solve computer science problems. Another goal is to introduce students to the Haskell and Agda programming languages, as well as introduce more advanced topics such as type theory and category theory.
Additionally, a computer science challenge will be provided to help students grasp the functional programming way of thinking.

GHC compiler (The Glorious Glasgow Haskell Compiler) 8.6.5;

ghcup, cabal, and other Haskell related tools;

Agda and emacs;

Monad.

Developing Mobile Apps with React Native

This course will cover the essential features of React Native: most used widgets, local storage, external APIs and Firebase Platform. React Native has a unique approach to deal with native components of each platform, implementing components through a rendering engine of its own, therefore eliminating the need to convert commands for Android and iOS.
