Is pleased to announce CPS Short-Term Program 2025 – 6th Edition (July 21 to August 1)

The International Relations Office of the Centro Paula Souza (CPS) will promote the 6th edition of the Short Term from July 21 to August 1, 2025. In 2025, the theme of the Program is “Interculturality in Brazil: Language, Innovation and Entrepreneurship”; it will be taught at Fatec Sebrae – São Paulo, Brazil.

Week 1: Intensive Portuguese Language Course

Week 2: Innovation and Entrepreneurship Course

Course taught in English. Certification for approved students. Applications must be made by partner institution’s international office via e-mail (ari@cps.sp.gov.br). Valid cooperation agreement between your institution and CPS is preferable but now required.

This course promotes a 1-week cultural and academic immersion for international students interested in improving their communication skills in Portuguese and live Brazilian culture at its best.

Welcome to São Paulo! Our week starts with city tour and a little about paulistas’ habits.

Innovation and Entrepreneurship Course

Morning – Official Opening (FATEC SEBRAE & FACULDADE SEBRAE) + Creativity Workshop (FATEC Proposal by Professor Caio Flavio)
Official opening with institutional representatives from FATEC SEBRAE, Faculdade SEBRAE, ARInter and SEBRAE-SP, welcoming us and explaining the program.
Afternoon – Brazil Scenarios (Brazilian business environment, foreign investment) and Digital Transformation (business digitalization in Brazil, case studies) (FATEC professors)

Tuesday – July 29

Morning – Patent (introduction to trademarks and patents, patent granting process, prospecting for technology bases) (FATEC SEBRAE)
AfternoonVisit to Centro Velho / B3 / Farol Santander (ARInter)

Wednesday – July 30

Morning – MON (FATEC SEBRAE)
How to bring together skills and technologies to explore innovative business ideas that generate impact.
Afternoon – Visit to SEBRAE Headquarters – Sebrae For Startups Platform or other Open Innovation environment (Partners)
Visit to an innovation hub within SEBRAE, as well as a talk with special guests who know the ecosystem of the SEBRAE-SP Business School (FATEC SEBRAE and Faculdade SEBRAE).

Thursday – july 31

Morning – Change Model Canvas + Validation Techniques (FATEC SEBRAE)
Understanding the structures that can generate impact through the Theory of Change, as well as its synchronization with the Business Modeling proposed by SenseLab. How to know if our proposal really meets our clients’ needs. The use of the Test Card and Learning Card
Afternoon – UX and Prototyping (FATEC SEBRAE)
The importance of keeping the customer at the center from the outset of prototyping a solution that can have an impact on the market, whether financial or social.

Friday – august 01

Morning – Pitch Training (FATEC SEBRAE)
Activity to prepare, substantiate and practice presentations for the panel of evaluators.
Afternoon – Solutions Panel (Guests)
Final Pitch for a panel of evaluators made up of guests from the Business School Ecosystem (Faculdade SEBRAE, FATEC SEBRAE, ARInter, SEBRAE-SP, Porto Seguro, CIETEC/USP) – Pitch 05 minutes – 05 Judgments.

  • Certificate Award Ceremony.

Saturday – august 02

Feel free to visit the capital.
Suggestions:

Ibirapuera’s Park – the largest urban park in the world; lakes, monuments, museums and leisure.
